We are now handicapped accessible with a new location
at 704B Arendell St
From Our President: Happy New Year! I must say the year 2010 is off to a fantastic beginning and we have lot of great things planned for the WRC this year. As you know, we held our Open House and Annual Meeting in November and it was a great success. Thank you to the Carteret County Chamber for help ‘bringing in’ the crowd! We received positive response at the Open House and have since had the opportunity to speak with several WRC members regarding our long term strategic planning. Life member and one of the “founding mothers” of the WRC, Joan Lamson, of Pine Knoll Shores attended our board meeting earlier this month and we had a very productive meeting with regards to our strategic plan for 2010. Thank you again Joan for your time and valued advice.
We are continuing to reevaluate our mission statement, goals and objectives and we will be updating our web presence and handouts with our ‘new look’ very soon. The primary goal of our ‘new look’ is to make the WRC more visible and to make ‘what we do’ known to all. Including our new events and services, you will find below a list of ‘what we do."
